Ryan & CorinneDear Expectant Parent(s),
By Ryan & Corinne

“When the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into a thousand pieces and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.” (J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan)

We may not believe in the existence of fairies, but we most certainly believe in the magic and mystery of childhood. We have both had the pleasure of growing up in households where creativity, imagination and laughter were encouraged. Now, we are excited to enter into the next stage of life where we can nurture these same things in the next generation. We are honored that you would consider trusting us with your child through open adoption. More

As we sit here writing this letter we imagine that you must feel a little like Shrek. The specific scene that comes to mind is when Shrek is getting ready to go talk to the bad dude prince and is looking for a guide out of all the fairy tale creatures. The donkey is jumping up and down saying “PICK ME…PICK ME! Ooooh PICK ME!” If that isn’t annoying enough, try leaving the DVD on all night while that phrase continually loops on the MENU page. Needless to say, Lise does not allow Joseph to watch Shrek on the bedroom TV anymore.

Life seems to enjoying throwing all of us a curve every once in a while. Peace can be found in one word…hope. This is the message we wish to bring to you. We hope that a new dawn of happiness will soon find you. Thank you for choosing to allow your child to embrace the gift of life. We are grateful to you for considering us to parent your child. We would be honored to show him or her everything we have come to appreciate and enjoy in this world. More

Yancy, Julie, Caydence, Lydia, & LandonDear Expectant Parent(s),
By Yancy & Julie

Hi there! We are Yancy, Julie, Caydence Lydia, and Landen. We are overjoyed to share this brief insight into our lives with you. We hope you enjoy learning about us…

We have talked about adopting since we first got married, even before having our children. We both just felt it would be an amazing way to add to our family and kept that in mind when we made our decision about the tubal ligation. Neither of us knew very much about open adoption, but we have learned so much about it in the last few months through CSSM and are very excited. We anticipate the joy of not only adding another child to our lives but also more family. More

Hello, This letter was a bit tough for us to write knowing that as you read it you are facing a decision that we can never comprehend. We truly hope that no matter what you decide you find peace in it. We also hope that through this letter you get a good feel of who we are as a family. Here goes…

We met each other almost fourteen years ago on a blind date. We both felt it was love at first sight! Two months after meeting we were engaged and five months after that we were married. Fast forward thirteen years and here we are, still madly in love and still having a blast! We tend to tackle life with the same enthusiasm and appreciation, which is why we get along so well. More

By Del & Laura

We would like to introduce ourselves to you. We welcome the opportunity for you to get to know us, and would be honored for you to consider us for open adoption. We are ready to be parents, and want to offer a stable and loving home to a little one!

We have been married for 5 years and are very happy together. It took some time to find each other, but we both knew very quickly that we wanted to be together. The idea of committed caring family is very important to us, and we realized when we found each other that we share this ideal. We see marriage as a lifelong commitment, and view family relationships as permanent. We are close as friends, like being in each other's company, and enjoy a great deal of security with each other. We both believe in God and found our initial bond through mutual faith. Our faith continues to center our relationship to each other and helps to keep us strong and give us skills for difficult times. More

By Matthew & Victoria

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for reading our letter and considering us. We understand you have an enormous decision to make and admire your courage as you plan for this baby. We would love to be part of this process and to be able to support you in this journey.

We are Victoria and Matthew and we hope we meet you someday! Our lives together began in 2003; we were engaged in 2005 and tied the knot in 2008 at Chico Hot Springs. Our wedding was small and beautiful, surrounded by our loving family and friends. Currently, our family consists of us and two lovable dogs named Kodi (black lab/shepherd) and Jake (chocolate lab). We cannot wait to add children to our family. Open adoption is important to us, especially because Victoria and her brother were adopted. More
