Originally from Indiana, Katie Lamach began working for Catholic Social Services of Montana in 2016.
Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work. Prior to joining CSSM, she gained invaluable experience through a variety of social work positions. She worked as a case manager for children with severe emotional disturbances in Kansas as well as a mental health technician at Shodair in Helena. She also served as a Child Protection Specialist for the State of Montana and as a counselor for the Helena Indian Alliance.
In her current role at CSSM, Katie serves as a recruiter for the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program through the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Youth are referred to her and, by utilizing the Child Focused Recruitment Model, she strives to find potential adoptive placements and long-term connections for the youth.
In her free time, Katie enjoys camping, kayaking, driving her Jeep Wrangler, walking her huskies, and watching movies with her husband and sons.
