Originally from Great Falls, MT, Twila has served as the executive director for Catholic Social Services of Montana for the past seven years. Prior to her work with CSSM, she spent over 35 years in child welfare in the state, including 20 years at Intermountain Children’s Home and 15 years at the State of Montana as a child protection worker and foster care/adoption worker. She holds Bachelor of Arts and Masters degrees in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the State of Montana.
As the executive director, Twila wears many hats for CSSM. She is responsible for staff supervision, marketing, planning, fundraising, and ongoing communication with board members. While her job can be demanding some days, she is able to lean on the compassionate and supportive staff she is surrounded by.
In her free time, Twila enjoys golfing, boating, skiing and walking her dogs in the Montana outdoors. She also likes to spend time with her friends and husband, Bryan, as well as play music in her church choir.
